HOW TO SIZE A BLANKET TO ENSURE IT FITS YOUR HORSE

A poorly fitted rug or blanket can cause discomfort and rubbing to your horse.  
Measuring your horse using the following guide ensures you get the right size saving you trips or returns.  Note:  some manufactures are not always true to sizing.

1. Blankets are usually sized in 2 or 3 inch increments.
2. Blankets are sized by measuring the distance from the centre of the horse's chest around his/her body to the point of his/her hip (next to the tail).
3. If your horse is between sizes, choose the bigger size.
